Application Procedure

Students transferring from Year 6 at primary school to Year 7 secondary school must apply through the London–wide admissions scheme. All applicants must submit the e-admissions online application to the Local Authority in which your child lives. The application process for September 2025 entry opens on 2nd September 2024. Please check your Local Authority website for further information.

In addition, applicants may complete our Supplementary Information Form (SIF)  which can be found below.  For those of other faiths, a baptismal certificate or a written declaration of practice from an official faith leader is desirable.

This forms should be returned to St Aloysius’ College via post or in person.

If you do not complete all forms (e-admissions and SIF ) and return them by the closing date your application will be subject to the late application policy and the Governing Body may be unable to consider your application.

Offers of places for admission to Year 7 for September 2025 will be made by the local authority on 1st March 2025. Once parents have been advised of their offer of a school, they should contact the Admissions Department of their local authority with any queries.

In Year Admissions Years 7 - 11

Applications for in-year admissions are made through the Local Authority. Applicants may be admitted to years 7, 8, 9, 10 or 11 throughout the academic year if there is a place available.

Appeals Procedure

If your child has been refused a place at the school, you have the right to appeal. You will receive at least 10 school days notice of your hearing. Letters regarding the decision of your appeal will be sent within 5 school days of your hearing.
