Pupil Premium
The Pupil Premium Grant is allocated based on the number of students on roll that qualify for Free School Meals (FSM). The Department for Education states that Pupil Premium funding is ‘designed to help disadvantaged students of all abilities perform better, and close the gap between them and their peers’. The school receives £935 for each student and have the freedom to use this funding in a way they believe most beneficial in supporting and raising the attainment of disadvantaged students.
The impacts of the funding are measured through the progress of disadvantaged students, analysing any positive improvements in tangible outcomes of these students such as their academic attainment, attendance and punctuality, and behaviour and pastoral reports.
